Huo Nu Liu Xing Jian (火弩流星箭)

Huo Nu Liu Xing Jian (火弩流星箭, lit. 'Fire crossbow shooting star arrow') was a disposable dart-launching handgonne made of bamboo. It consisted of a two chi five cun long bamboo tube wrapped in tendon, hemp and iron wire and reinforced with glue and lacquer, as well as a wooden handle reinforced with iron bands. The bamboo tube was loaded with gunpowder, a sabot and ten poisoned darts before being sealed with paper.
