Bai Shi Qiang (百矢鎗)

Ming Chinese arrow fire spear
Drawing of a Bai Shi Qiang, from 'Yu Zi Shi San Zhong Mi Shu Bing Heng (《渝子十三種秘書兵衡》'.
Bai Shi Qiang (百矢鎗, lit. 'Hundred arrow spear') was a simple, one-shot fire lance. It was a spear with six attached paper tubes filled with gunpowder, a sabot, and several poisoned bamboo darts. All paper tubes were connected to a single fuse so that they fire at the same time once the fuse was lit.
